it runs ? input lag? So thank you very for your work.
It runs yes
The lag is not noticeable with my shitty reflexes, I have no empirical readings since I broke my logic analyzer.
One is on the way from china.
THX very much. I will wait until final lag test...but I will make one for light gun and wheel.
Thanks for your efforts, I have the needed components. Will try this weekend and report back.
This is amazing stuff actually. This will allow for more controllers to be used as long as they are support in Linux
Any updates on this? I have the ither half of components on the way and am just wondering if there were any changes/updates in the interim...?
The parts list changed a few times but the available code works for an atmega32u4 + RaspberryPi combo.
For those of you who haven't heard Ryzee119 beat me to the punch
He has done a VERY nice job with a similar premise but with much more polish and user-friendliness.
Check out his work here: https://github.com/Ryzee119/ogx360
Hey, sweet. I'll be honest, I only somewhat skimmed the replies. USB has been a hobby as of late. The OG xbox controller is only a repackaged USB 1 device. You might be able to emulate it with the facedancer and develop some kind of api for standard PC game controller devices to interface. That or use USBProxy'esque approach with a beaglebone black.
