    Nooooo not at all, I hear lots of them have made their way out if Nintendo through beta testers and friends of nintendo. There are a couple out there and i'm looking to get my hands on one!

    Yeah there's definitely a few out there.

    But they're rare, and you'll likely have to pay a princely sum to convince someone to part with theirs.

    edit:
    I tried to track one down for myself about four years ago. Pricing was $150-$200 and up, which I thought was overpriced.
    I'd happily pay that now, but I expect that prices would be much higher these days.

    These are very cool as I love gamecube stuff. Just on the cusp of what I'd be willing to spend money on.
