WTB Green "Duke" Xbox controller

WTB Green "Duke" Xbox controller/ Xbox Modchips

I have been searching for one for a long, long time. I'll take whatever I can get whether broken, chipped, mint, etc.! I'm a huge fan of the original xbox controller and want to kick it up a level with the green version!

I'm also interested in original xbox modchips. I'm looking for quality ones (i.e. xecuter series, smartxx series, etc.) I am trying to rebuild my xbox console collection (I had to sell most of it some time ago!) I know they are harder to find but I don't like any of the aladdins or duo x3 chips (xbox modders know what I'm talking about!)

From the launch team XBox? Good luck there as the only thing that seems to be rarer are the Alamos.

 

They aren't too bad. I failed to pull the trigger on one the other day and seen two in a lot together two months ago.

 

There are two Launch console for sale right now and both have the Dukes if you want to get them that way but I have to ask. Where were they and why did you not buy those other ones you say you saw? To expensive? 0_o

That was more like 5 months ago during the summer. lol I haven't seen any come up since then apart from ones being included with a Launch console.

Although if you wanted to be really technical I did see a retail Duke controller on Ebay a while ago that was actually painted green. lol

 

Reminds me of the guy that painted an Xbox white and claimed it was some rare special edition
best part was even when I pointed out it was just a crappy paint job and I mean real crappy he would not give up the story

Anywho I should spray paint one of my Dukes pink and sell it for millions!

hmm i think ive seen a couple of them a few months back at some local swap meets. ill go back again this next weekend and see if i can find one if you dont get one by then

 

I would look for the Dukes with the green circle in the middle also, those are prototype Dukes. Labeled as "Dakota" or "Alamo" on the back.

 

what would you think the price on those are? for resale of course lol

 

Dakotas are anywhere from $70 to $100 or more and Alamos, who knows, I think APE was offered $250 and he turned it down, not sure, should probably ask him. lol The controllers are worth more if they have the original breakaway cables also. If you can manage to get passed my monotone voice you can watch a video I just made about them here.

The green Dukes I am not sure about the value because they are so rarely sold by themselves. They usually come with a Launch console. :/
