Was Link’s Awakening 64 (the rom hack) ever released?

    Was the N64 fan-made rom hack Link’s Awakening 64 (the Gameboy game ported into Ocarina of Time's 3D engine on the N64) ever released, does anyone know?

    It looked really priomising, and it would be a shame if the project had been abandoned.

    From what I understand, the project was abandoned. A real bummer because it looked pretty great

    Not for me, but looks interesting. However, once he mentioned he has a Patreon and you can support him for making this, it takes this into the "making money off of it" territory which would give Nintendo a HUGE incentive to shut it down.

    Yeah... it seems like lately there’s a niche for new games on old hardware. And especially when you’re talking full 3D games, that takes time and money. Perhaps instead of just shutting everything down, Nintendo and Sega could start making products that meet this demand
