Apparently my local Gamestop has it. I wonder what the trade in value is...

I dunno, it's wierd, I think someone had some fun screwing up prices on games or something, because I bet you anything it isn't actually worth that much....it isn't on ebay really either.

Well obviously it's a mistake. Looks like someone's had a little fun with the website there. If you actually went into a gamestop with this page printed out and tried to trade in this game, could you (if you wanted to be a dick) use this to get some kind of rediculous trade in price? Obvisouly not nine hundred thousand dollars, but maybe you could scam a new DS or something off them? Just wondering what thier policies are.

Capcom did something similar with their store. They made games which were no longer in production 995$. Im guessing someone at that place had some fun too.

I highly doubt it, as they would think its a joke. Gamestop employees arent as stupid as you think! :110: Well, most of the time, anyway.

I do know a (now closed) Pawn Shop Owner that would be head over heels wanting to get this so he could sell it for some ridiculous price. Really, he was trying to sell a cart of Final Fantasy with no box or manual, AND the sticker worn off the cart, for $50.

You can get the whole set for $30 at Game Exchange.

You know is not a bad a idea, I've seen people suing for lesser mistakes in other chain stores.

If you made a scandal (ex: "I'm gonna call my lawyer!" in front of everybody in the room) you may get some stuff like a premium X360 or a PS3 (if this mistake is up when that one comes out).

I remember Amazon UK listing some £300 PDA for £3.00 or something similar, hundreds of them were bought, but Amazon wriggled out of it. I imagine most online stores are covered for this sort of mistake. If you go in waving a piece of paper screaming, the manager will just check the site (if you look now it's $2.99).
