If I remember correctly, the sky and stages on Art of Fighting 2 would change colour after each round to represent different times of day. So that image above may not be from a beta?

After a little checking, I confirm there aren't any change between each round. Maybe SNK planned to do so at an earlier stage of development but I wouldn't bet on that.

Ah, OK, that must have been another SNK game. I know the Fatal Fury series does that though.

The road avenger screens are not Mega CD. The video quality is way too clean.

Indeed, but the number of colors matches the Mega-CD version and I don't see any other version which could look like this one. Maybe they cleaned the screenshots - the guy on the third screenshot is grainy in the final version - or did they take these screenshots before the compression of the video (I'm not an expert, please correct me if I'm wrong).

Capcom vs SNK - Arcade - beta (Player One 102 - nov 99)

I haven't seen this screenshot on U64. By the way, it seems to be the only stage Capcom made specially for this beta - the other stages are taken from 3rd strike - since Power Stone wasn't in 2D.

Ysterday on game design school course we were given a week to show a more complete level on udk, and a friend from the group said "we gonna have to work real hard"

Then i told to the group the Chris Senn involvement on sonic xtreme, that he spent like 17 hours a day working to the point of even sleeping at sega, and then he got a pneumonia, i said that we're gonna have to do the same (just for joking).

I think you could be right. These shots do have a lower colour setting so they could well be taken from an uncompressed video of the game.

I'm taking a little break but I still have some stuff to share:

    Saturn - unreleased:
Cannon Fodder (CD Consoles 4 - february 1995)

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (CD Consoles 13 - january 1996)

Toh Shin Den 2 (don't remember which magazine it was)
It says Takara has decided to resume the development of the game.

    Poporucho (EGM 60 - july 1994)
I think the guy who wrote that thought Clockwork Knight: Pepperouchau's Adventure was 2 different games. Daedorus is just another mistranslation of Daedalus/Robotica (sometime listed as deadlus).

    Talespin - Mega Drive - beta (Sega Visions 10 - nov-dec 1992)
    Slightly different HUD.

The Saturn Toshinden 2 image is taken from the CG Intro of Toshinden URA for the Saturn. Which was the 2nd Saturn Toshinden game. The first was reprogrammed by Sega while Takara were head of URA.

My bad! I believed Ura was the japanese name of the first Toh Shin Den for years. It's not a series I'm fond of...

Here a piece of a N64 release list.

    Do you see anything peculiar?
Sure lots cancelled Imagineer games for N64 but what it is most interesting is that , aside for a mistranslation, it's listed a never heard before RPG for the Nintendo 64 DD:
    Seed.

In the image there is an entry for Desert Island the other RPG known to be planned by the software house for the failed Nintendo add-on.

I have always wanted to see this version of Shin Shinobi Den. There are more shots of this version on this forum somewhere that I posted years ago.

Yup, I've seen some other screenshots. I've never played this game though I'd like to. I know the soundtrack of the european version was remade by Richard Jacques (one of his early works for Sega, alongside with Daytona CCE). Maybe one day...
