neogeocdworld > To my knowledge, It has always been said Conan was a Jaguar game. Plus, we know for sure the developer was working on a Jaguar brawler back in the day.

As Youlete said, on Next Generation.

Just checked before going to bed and I have this little scan too:

    GameFan 1-3

The funny thing is that I don't even think Neo Geo CD was available at the time.

    @Youloute
I know but the only gameplay screenshots we have seen have too many color for Mega Drive color palette so I always assumed it was meant for the Mega CD 32X combo more than Mega CD standalone.

    Pilotwings 2 - Super NES - unreleased
Actually, this game has never been advertised and Nintendo never revelead the game was in development at the time.
The first time I heard about it was a few months ago in the last Pix 'n Love issue (a french magazine) for which Dylan Q*bert gave an interview :

    (Pix 'n Love 23)

It says while one of Nintendo's team was working on SMW 2, Miyamoto and his crew were working on a new Pilotwings which used the Super FX 2.

    And then on Twitter :

    Olalà, great find!
    Thank you Youloute.

BTW years ago I've read a rumor in an italian mag that cited a polygonal F-Zero for SNES.
    Probably bullshit but who knows...

Oh and of course there is the polygonal remake of Adventure of Link for SNES too (that one is actually known to exists).

Do as you wish. Whatever I upload can be freely used.

For the complete page scan, I would need to search if I still have that issue and I doubt I've time in these days.
However if I remember right, that was just a single line in the "rumor section" at the end of the magazine.

I'm not fond of Legend, it was so slow I've never finished the game. I know it had positive reviews in french magazines but I haven't seen any sales figures.
I don't know what arcade zone was thinking at the time : making a (sort of) sequel for a brawler, on Jaguar, in 1995? Seriously guys?

Celine > I wonder if Nintendo included any parts of this prototype in Pilotwings 64. Maybe it was just a technical demo developed in order to experiment the concept of a 3D Pilotwings game.

    Not suprising at all.
Brawler was their genre and Atari picked up many small and cheap french (and european) developers to support the Jaguar.
For example Virtual Xperience, Hyper Image and Fight for Life's single programmer Francois Bertrand.
As I said that was due to the fact they were cheap and also because the strong ties developed with the Atari ST.

Probably the concept, development then went to a specialist in flight simulation like Paradigm.

I cannot find it anymore but a member of Mod The Sims 2.com had a beta of this, but he said he was not going to leak it. He apparently was an ex maxis employee.

I was digging into some old mags during the past week and found some interesting things. First, Game Gear:

    A few unreleased games (EGM 40 - November 1992)
    David Robinson's Basketball
    Gadget Twins
    Populous
    Robin Hood
    Shadow of the Beast

    Eternal Champions (EGM 53 - December 1993)
It could be Chicago Syndicate (which was released in 1995 though)

Phantasy Star Gaiden - beta (EGM 38 - September 1992)

I was suprised to find only 3 pictures of this version after looking at a dozen of websites, so here are a few other screenshots of the Sonic 2 beta
    (Joypad 12 - september 1992 + EGM 38 - September 1992)

    32X

    Boogerman - unreleased (EGM 65 - dec 1994)

    NHL - unreleased (EGM 65 - dec 1994)
Since there's a FIFA game on this machine, it would not be surprising EA also planned to make an NHL game for the 32X.

    Striker - unreleased (EGM 70 - May 1995)
Maybe a port of the Mega Drive game. It seems this game is not related to Pro Striker 95 (another unreleased 32X game which looks a lot like J League pro striker final stage on Mega Drive)

    Neo-Geo

    Garou Densetsu 3 - beta (EGM 69 - April 1995)
    Many differences here:
    the timer
    the life gauges
Shiranui Mai instead of Mai Shiranui
    Muchizuki Sokaku instead of Sokaku
    Hon-Fu instead of Hon-Fu
The font used for the names
The floor of Geese's Stage (blue and red instead of yellow and red)

    Ryuuko no Ken 2 - beta (EGM 55 - february 1994)

    Comparison with the final version:
    Diffrences:
    Floor
    spotlights

World Heroes Perfect - beta (EGM 72 - July 1995)
    Different timer

Canceled localization of Nobunaga no Yabou Bushou Fuunroku?

Monster Truck Wars - unreleased (EGM 63 - October 1994)

    Sega Hockey - unreleased ? (EGM 47 - june 1993)
It could be NHL All Star Hockey, though this one was released more than a year after this announcement.

    (EGM 4 - October 1989)
I have tons of lists like this one but sometimes it's hard to tell if it's total bullshit or not. By the way, here is a list of unreleased games included on this article.
    Dream Island
    Dynamite Dux
    Fiery Violence
    Last Survivor
    OutRun 3D
    Super Stealth
Peacock King 3 is a mistake. It's Kujaku Ō 2, also known as Mystic Defender.
