Excellent news! I will see what I can do in the next day or so. Alchy has extremely kindly provided me the means to upload the stuff (many thanks Alchy!). I will eventually work towards the goal of sharing out all my PC beta stuff (PM me if you want to see the full list). I will also think about sharing some PC betas post year 2000, but thats all to come. Thanks all.

Do you know if any work was completed? I've only heard vague mentions of an N64 port, no screenshots or interviews stating anything was done.

Unreal for the N64 is almost impossible to find (sorry). Apparently work started to port it on the N64 DD (Dynamic Drive). However the DD (as we know) was a commercial failure, so work got quickly stopped, as is the case with many other N64 DD games.

Tom, that's great, thanks for the kind offer.

Why not post your full list in the collection forum? I am sure you can count PC betas etc. as part of your collection, or a collection in itself! Oh, and don't forget to tell us a lil about yourself in the Introduce Yourself thread ;-)

Yeap, Unreal was a n64 exclusive that would take advantage of the DD. Seeing that it's one of the most powerful and surely the most popular engine nowadays, I think the delay (and not the failure) of the DD made them change their course as a business.

Unreal was cancelled way before the DD even came out,let alone failed.

Nevertheless, any form of unreal's N64 era, even a test level or some code, would be very exciting!

I don't know if everyone else knows this, but a lot of this stuff is readily available with a quick Google search (Corridor 8 beta, DOOM alphas, and the Daikatana alpha come to mind). I'm saying this to hopefully save someone some bandwidth. :)

Of course, 90% of this stuff I haven't seen and I'm pretty excited about it. Thanks again for your generosity, Tom.

Sorting this out as we speak guys.

Anyone else who has betas (PC, console, whatever) and wants webspace, PM me. My webspace and my responsibility, so hopefully there won't be the same problems there were with the ftp thing.

EDIT: bandwidth isn't an issue, really.

If anyone (Alchy?) can help me with hosting, that would be great, I am willing to start uploading straight away. The reason I dont want to put up a full list is because some game betas are a bit 'controversial' if you understand my meaning. Others are still around on the web somewhere, but not in one place. I think I should probably upload even the more readily available stuff (with the rare things) because everything will then be on one ftp (or equivalent webspace) which you simply wouldnt find anywhere. Thanks

Edit: Barc0de, I think you are tatally correct about unreal n64. Also a bit of code is possible to get, I think, but dont quote me on that.
Also is there a way to over-ride the max 19.5 kb per image upload. I want to show you all some rare pictures of the unreleased shadow warrior deadly kiss addon. Cheers

Thanks a lot. Here are two rare pics of the unreleased SW deadly kiss from circa April 1998. I am pretty sure you cant find them anywhere on the net, but I could be wrong.

This, however, is a more common image of Shadow Warrior alpha. Actually came from the additional files archives of the 1994 Hocus Pocus (platformer) game.

Whilst starting the uploads, I thought if anyone might be interested in rare or unreleased concept art/pics/internal beta development screens of 1990s pc games (including titles that never saw the light of day and I bet you have never ever heard of). I can include those as well. Cheers
