  1. Seems there were gonna be two Famicom game collections released for the PCEngine. A 5 in 1 and a 6 in 1. They were developed by Image, but only got to prototype stage.

Both contain Super Mario Bros. Now what were Nintendo doing even thinking about licencing Mario and DonkeyKong for a competing system??? Or are these unreleased because they were unlicenced and stopped by Nintendo? Playing SMB on my PCE would be damn cool...

Image is a group of people in Helsinki, Finland. They made the compilation on the PCE.

    What I got today :

  4. Ok, not sure if this is the right section, but still....

NEC released an adaptor so you could plug your PCEngine into your PC, and use the PCE Super CD-ROM2 drive as a PC CD rom drive. I suppose this was because PC CD drives were well expensive back then.

The cable plugged into your PC (not sure what socket?), and the other end had a HuCard on it....

    Wow... what a mess!
Reminds me of that TD Modem (forgot the name... Power Link or something) that was never released.

There was a proto on Yahoo Japan about 2 years ago... went for a small fortune.

a similar thing was done with the CD32, they released a cable that allowed one to use a CD32 as a cd-rom drive on an Amiga :smt043

    Ico for PSOne?

Ico for the PlayStation? I can only hope that this will surface one day, along with the other known titles that eventually found their home on the PS2, such as The Getaway...

  18. Unreleased Xbox game screenshots: Lamborghini

Here u go, six 'in-game' screen shots from the game 'Lamborghini'.

The game was developed for the Beta Live! program.

It's 100% in content, graphics are lovely, car handling/crash damage and general 'real-world' physics are great.

A really nice game that only runs from a 'Beta Debug Kit' Kernal.
