Ah yes you must be right. And I was wondering what that thing in the center was
yeah its just a promo vid i don't think its an actual playable game.
the thing your seeing in the middle is a set of tv screens put on top of each other to create one big screen to preview it all on i think.
Watch this space. Tomorrow I'll be posting screen shots from 3 never before seen Saturn games from Japan. Will it include VF3? You bet your arse it will!!!!
Hahaha, no it won't but I bet a few of you need to change your pants now.
i have had a bad cold all this week so i need a cheer up
OK, here are a few unseen unreleased Saturn games.
Cobra the Psycho Gun from Takara
Loose (RPG) from Easy Computer System. The game would have been distributed by Sierra Pioneer.
Untitled Rock Climbing Simulation from NETYOU
Amazing the 3D of Cobra!
Cool great pics
I uploaded this one to some Sonic site years ago, but it is probably lost nowadays:
And this one:
Ronald McDonald in Magical World released in Japan only for game gear:
The picture shows a differente title screen as the this youtube video:
Was Hyper Dunk released for the GG? Or this picture shows the Genesis version?
^GG Hyper Dunk was released in Japan.
Nice. Seems like Vertigo isn't as much of a new concept as I thought it was...
Nice scans Yakumo
Don't know why but Loose reminds me of Fuurai no Shiren for Super famicom.
BTW that rock climbing game is probably the saturn version of this released game fot PS1 by Net you ( ROCK-CLIMBING The Challenge to the virgin peak ):
I think it probably is the same game,. Seems too much of a coincident having two different rock climbing games from the same company. The PlayStation one seems to be 2D though.
Act Remix ( SAT )
Probably Solo Crisis ( love you Quintet )
Steamship Pirates ( SAT )
This one is the most interesting.
Surely canceled and with no information available it seems.
Kamikaze Comics ( Sega CD )
An old knowledge of Rod
VF ( SAT )
VR ( GEN )
Then there are a bunch of screens about Kumite but they are a bajillion ( 7 scans ).
Will upload when I have the time and will to do.
Back to work
nice Kamikaze Comics pics actraiser would of been cool on the saturn.and i also found some virtua racing and early virtua fighter pics too the exact same vr ones as above .
Nice scans Celine, thanks
There's a short clip from that same 30% complete Saturn build of Virtua Fighter in the bonus history file that came with VF3tb on the Dreamcast, and I've also uploaded a few screenshots from this early code as well, although those were from a 1994-era Japanese interview with AM2 producer Keiji Okayasu. I can't wait to see more from this game, Kumite and the early Megadrive version of Virtua Racing as well - hopefully in the future we can also get our hands on extra media from the Winter CES '94 SGI tech demos (Panzer Dragoon, Clockwork Knight and International Victory Goal), plus the infamous high resolution Daytona USA prototype...
i want the saturn actraiseeeerrrrrrr O_O
anyone have any real info on it?!
There is no Saturn Actraiser. The story was the typical "we know nothing so we'll jump to conclusions" of 90's game mags. Basically they saw Quintet were making Saturn games with one having the WIP name of Act Remix. Most certainly that Act Remix is Solo Crisis. Since that and Code R (Racing game with RPG Elements) were the only Quintet Saturn games.
i see, our italian mags were quite more accurate then, and sent their mans to e3, ects, tgs and so on... guess i didn't appreciate it that much back then
Separate names with a comma.
