    Ted, thanks for your feedback.
    I am not sure if it is kosher to post links for such things on here. I googled the title and found two different isos that way and had the same result with both.
    If you find it, let me know what you get.

    The GDI from the Trurip is fine and I have tested every GDI dump of the entire US/JP collection and the only game that fails completely is NBA Hoopz (Black Screen) and D2 not switching disks consistently when prompted.

    Any issues with crashing, etc, maybe a result of the SD card, the sourced image or GDmenu setup. Try a different SD card and format a fresh install of GDmenu.

    Just thought I should share that after a conversation with Deunan about the Rez issues he sent me some new FW to trial and it seems to be working well with all the testing I have done so far. Also, Virtual On Oratorio Tangram had a lot of issues when playing the after bout victory / loss etc music tracks; ie they wouldn't play! This issue now also seems to be fixed.

    I have just emailed Deunan back to let him know this, and as the FW is not on his site yet I'll not share it in case there is a problem; I think it best to let him do that.

    Is there a list of what SD cards work with GDEmu?
    I want to get a bigger card. What is the max that Deunan supports?
    What is the max that you have used that works?

    Am I the only one having GDEmu SD by MadSheep crash on every .gdi selection?

    I select a .gdi from C:\dc\ and it dies with this exception. Drag and drop of the .gdi or folder makes no difference other than those modes don't throw any exception (they just don't add anything).

    Try a different file location and check that the cygwin1.dll file is in the data folder and update the net framework, if needed.

    Just a few things to try

    I've updated my .Net framework, verified cygwin1 is there and is the latest version.

    I am on Windows 10, maybe that's the problem.

    Here's the text inside my .gdi, which is named game.gdi and has the trackxx.bin inside the same dir. I've tried running as admin, compat mode, etc, no difference. I'm curious why it's trying to open the dir anyway if I'm pointing it at a file?

    Idk if that's the issue, but you should remove the quotation marks, that's not typical and can cause issues with gdemu anyways.

    Tried that, tried windows XP (.net doesn't go up that high to run it), tried Win 7, all the same result, so strange. I even tried to extract the GDI and re-make it, no difference. Was this functionality broken in a recent version perhaps?

    I only used the Linux version and it was fine. You could try that.

    Also, check for spaces in the path? It's safer to put none.

    I'm using Win 7 X64 with no compatibility options using 1.04, which is the latest version I think.

    Target path is "C:\dreamcast GD\GDEMU_SD\GDEMU_SD.exe"

    Start in: "C:\dreamcast GD\GDEMU_SD"

    I heard a while back about path locations can cause some problems. Also, try a different GDI file (just copy the folder containing the raw files), as I have had some not want to copy over and don't use the pc when it's copying files to the SD card.

    Windows 10 is not the problem, it definitely works with that because I use it on Windows 10 and it works for me. No special compatibility settings or anything. The file not found exception is a standard .NET exception, and it always lists the full path that the application tried to load. What it's showing for you implies that somehow you selected the folder instead of the .gdi file, even though it shouldn't really be possible to select the folder.

    1. Is there a special character at the beginning of the filename for the .gdi you selected?
    2. Is your hard drive formatted as NTFS?
    3. Is your default system language something other than English?
    4. Do .CDI files work?

    These questions might not help, but there must be something different about your machine.

    1. Nope, it's called disc.gdi
    2. Yes my PC is NTFS, my SD is FAT32.
    3. It's English
    4. Yeah, I've added some CDI files just fine on this very SD card

    Game is in C:\dc\bam3\ as disc.gdi (contents pasted above, I even tried without quotes in the .gdi), and the tracks are all in the same dir too.

    Full procedure:
    Open file explorer to C:\dc\GDEMU_SD and double click on GDEMU_SD.exe.
    SD card is found, lists my already on there .CDI games just fine.
    Hit the + icon and navigate to C:\dc\bam3\
    Select disc.gdi (or any other GDI on my entire PC, spaces in the dir or not), the exception in the following spoiler is shown.
    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Oh, and I'm using v1.041
