I agree with ASSEMbler. Who cares who gets credit for it? The important thing is that people have access to it.

There is the optimized image. Going to post in file downloads as well so it doesn't get lost.

Cool, downloading now... will be giving it a try when I can dig out a Dreamcast!
I'll always remember where my copy of Geist Force came from and who made it possible :encouragement:

Not sure if that is an insult or honour, probably the former and somewehat misguided, though I am a dummy for losing $700 on the first disc and $700 in the fire sale to pay for it, damned Geist Force :p

Hmm atreyu's version seems improved. Its such a shame this game wasn't ever released, All this did was make me hungry for a complete game that wont ever exist. :p This could very well of been the star fox killer that never was.. Stage 1 works if you go easy on firing and in my experience is the only level I could complete, I still can't play stage 2 which apparently no one else can either.. stage 3 doesn't load for me. stage 4 has the huge canyon you cannot bypass,Stage 5 seems to work alright until the end of the level, then it unclips you and you roll wildly. Could just be my two go's at it though. stage 6 is basically a bunch of ships with shaky collision detection, then you get sucked into a black hole more or less. Mike's test room is the best part, you are unclipped in the engine and get to basically explore a level freely, 360 degrees.

Obviously. That goes without saying. My issue was that I thought someone took credit for this site's work to acquire and dump the game. It's one thing to distribute an iso for others to play, and it's another to claim that iso came from you and that it's exclusively thanks to you that the game is finally released.

But that's not what happened here. It was just a misunderstanding on my part. I didn't realize the download link was actually the zipped torrent from here.

How did you burn it? I just got two files named Geist.Force-Resorted.001 and Geist.Force-Resorted.002 WinRar doesn't open them as I thought so hw do I extract the cdi or ISO file?

Extract with the latest build of 7z as I use a compression algo that WinRAR can't handle.

Unless they get access to the source, I doubt it. But it would be really cool if someone took it as an inspiration to made an indie game in the same vein. Arcade-style rail shooters don't seem to be very popular nowadays, even though they can be tons of fun.

Someone may be able to access those files soon so you may have an even more improved version over the one I just posted in the File Downloads section soon hopefully.

Don't tell me you're the same stormwatch that used to post copious amounts of anti-circumcision threads on DC-Emulation.
