    Because stealing is wrong :fresh:
Simply 'reclaiming' what is owed is acceptable
While the rest of us celebrate the victory :smashed:

    Not true :)
Back when the iPad was the only one on the market, my mate got his stolen, had the tracking thing, found out the house, and a bunch of us payed the guy a 'friendly' visit :)

One day you find your "friendly visit" master who then has a laugh.

    Thank you good sir.

I appreciate all the support especially from the mods. I haven't seen such active mods anywhere else.

And I apologize for not responding. The subscribing to the topic feature doesn't send out a notification for every reply.

Agreed - it's not a lot of money, it's certainly worth it if all the items were worth more than the shipping.

Having said that, I would at least tell them (approxiately) how much it'll cost to ship in advance, so you're clear what they should expect to pay.

Props to you for being so trusting, but I really wouldn't do that. Always ask for money first, and get some kind of proof of postage, if not tracking. If you want to send something to a more trustworthy member (i.e. long standing, lots of posts, well known), then so be it - but I wouldn't have sent items to a member who's barely been here 6 months and only made a handful of posts (and quite a few asking for stuff).

Thanks for bringing it to our attention, though. Hope you get it resolved!

Hit up the people he also didn't pay and find out what happened to their transaction (he may have paid up eventually). Start hitting him up outside the normal methods, chances are you have his full name and if you don't you can probably put his address into 192.com and get a full name, from their hassle him on facebook, phone calls etc.

Don't be a dick though, I've talked people who have tried to scam me into just paying by being polite. Respect works both ways and I wouldn't show up to beat somebody up when theirs a possibility that you could get it without fighting.

Well, he's posting on the forums again. Have you been able to contact him Piratero?

Ah, yes. He has contacted me.

I was told that he hasn't received the package yet and will pay once he receives it.

I haven't gotten an update since. It's been about 6 days.

    Thats still not right imo.

If he was buying something from you, he would pay up front (including shipping) - yet on free items he wants to wait until it arrives?

Thats not the way things should be done.

    I completely agree.

I'm pretty sure he's going to play the "oops, lost in the mail. I don't pay you"

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

It has come to my attention that he is a known scammer.

    Great.

First time I've ever been scammed by giving away free items.
