So, what game did you gut and/or cannibalize for parts?

EDMD - NFL Quarterback Club ($.97, FTW)
SED - Magical Taruruto-Kun (SFC cart)
MED - Black Belt (only game I had w/o a case that I was willing to give up)
ED64 - NFL Blitz (took the 6102 out of it too)
EDGG (when I get it) - Olympic Gold

With the exception of Blitz, I kept all the gutted games for the heck of it.

ED MD - A broken copy of Columns (perfect looking cart and board, no idea how it broke)
Super ED - Final Stretch, also supplied the DSP1
ED 64 - Armorines, also supplied the CIC

For my Everdrive I think it was a "macdonald" game I don't remember the title since I bough the game cheap because it had an extremely damaged label.

    -GG ED: Columns
    -Master ED: Super Tennis
    -Snes ED: Jimmy Conors tennis

No I don't hate tennis, but the cheapest games are sports one so...:flamethrower:

I had an empty Genesis cartridge shell from a game that was broken because its PCB was damaged. It was a baseball sports game.

Working World Cup '94 for Mega Drive.
Already had no label in it (got it used), so it was an easy choice

    That explains it then :)

I think the ED64 I got from Retrogate also used a Madden cart.

You broke Super Mario World? NoOOooo!
Oh well, at least with the SNES ever drive you only have to modify the back half of the case, so as long as the sticker was left intact you can just rebuild Super Mario World when you swap the back panel out from a copy of "Revolution X" or something equally crap (if such a thing exists).

Everdrive-MD: Shadow Dancer with a label in really bad shape. The game PCB was still working so I gave it to someone on AtariAge for free.

Super Everdrive: Found a beat up copy of Pilotwings for $2, which was great since it gave me both a shell and a DSP chip. I still keep around the Pilotwings PCB for parts.

Master Everdrive: I actually don't have one yet, but I set aside a shell for one. For that, I gutted a Wonder Boy cart with a crappy label and gave away the game PCB so it didn't totally go to waste.

I let StoneageGamer do the cart killing and gutting for me. I'd just end up making something ugly.
