Excellent work. Another mystery solved, and a piece of gaming history in your hand!
WE WANT NICE FOTOS! OF THE MANUAL! OF THE CART! OF THE BOX! WE WANT A VIDEO OF THE GAMEEEEEEEeeeeeEEEEEeeeeee. :110:
Do you want eBay to be full of HK bootlegs?
Some pics wouldn't do much harm.
Super Twintris on the Amiga for greatest Tetris!
Ironic as the pirate version that has been floating around for ages is the same version.
I'm not sure if the covers are the real deal, that's why I said that.
So the point is: is this one a bootleg?
I don't think mundocombo have bought a bootleg so expensive
There are bootlegs all over the planet, generally with the same case.
I sold one some days ago for 35-40€,that' how much they generally go for. They do not have instructions
Mundocombo got the "real deal", one of the very few original MD carts released in JAPAN only, before they were "called back" from market because of copyrights war between Sega&Nintendo back at the time.
I wonder why the bootleg makers didn't just copy the "real deal" Tetris's cover instead of designing an odd looking own one with chinese written on it.
Ok so the bootlegs don't have the real cover. That's why I told andoba not to ask for the real cover in order not to get copied.
I hope that nobody will do that one day, it will be a lot worse that the guys selling fake proto on ebay.
The real cover is known as well, see first post:
I never saw a scan of it though and I wouldn't scan it either if I was Mundocombo.
This is the bootleg:
I will not.
By the way, the original game and the bootleg are not the same, similar yes, but there are differences.
Both are horrible to play
What the hell does that Chinese copy say in Kanji? That can't say only Tetris can it?
By the way, there was a Japanese add for Tetris many years ago. Anyone with talent could make a fake front cover from that. I may try it myself this month. Keep watching this space ! (Don't worry, I'll watermark the shit out of it)
Yes but you have no image of inside the manual for sure, isn't it?
I'm interested in seeing that cover!
that's why I said "the front cover" Here's a shitty version of the image I'm talking about.
Booo, no way you can do it, the image has been too trimmed, the floor has some "lost tetrsi pieces" that you cannot see on this image. But yes, it's a start.
From where is this scan? a magazine? very cool indeed.
Separate names with a comma.
