bollocks, that's alot more than just noble sentiments. you're obviously a good person. I haven't been here nearly long enough, but it would be cool if a special thread was made that could be stickied (maybe somehow at the bottom of the page so as not to bother people? if that where possible) where sellers posted their ebay auctions and nothing else would get posted - just a link and a small refference to the auction. not sure if its been done before but it could work no?
I still can't believe I got two of those for 359GBP ... including a SDKR10 disc, 42 blank GDR's, a Dev-Kit and a GD-Writer ...
wish i had the money for that auction at the time... that was a damn good price... the guy who sold it could have made so much more if knew what he was selling! )
I still can't believe hoiw close I was to winning that auction untill I was lamely sniped in the last few seconds :smt022
true, I only snipe because its legal to do so and saves me lots of money 'cause people don't enter the highest amount they are willing to pay for something ...
But the whole point of eBay is the bidding I'd have bidded more if I had more than 1 second to notice, react, then bid which is pretty much impossible :smt022
no, its not, the point of ebay is buying/selling, and for me as a buyer I have no interest in giving people time to decide if they want to pay more, as my interest is to spend as little money as possible, I enter the ammount I am willing to pay in the last possible moment, if someone was willing to spend more, so be it ... it doesn't give me the chance to bid more, if my snipe gets outbid, but I don't care, as I wouldn't have paid more anyway ! If you would have entered the money you were willing to pay in the first place, and it was more than what some snipers where willing to pay, it would have been yours ... what I am trying to say: decide how much you want to spend and enter that ammount, if someone outbids you and you want to bid again, you haven't entered the ammount you where willing to spend ... regards Mark
