You know in Highpoint when GameRush was around, they had Snowboard Kids 2 sealed for $20 in the cabinet. I wanted to get but never did, and today look how much it's worth.
At least you have nice gems there man! Go any where locally? My friend and I scan the city for retro stuff and previous gen :p

Excellent collection, really like all the different Dreamcast models. Impressively tidy, too.

GameRush? Was that when they changed the name from Video Games Heaven? (my favourtie gaming store EVER!!)

I don't really go anywhere locally. Mainly being using ebay but obviously everything is over priced. Now that I'm starting to finish off my DC console collection I will start to do the scans for retro gear. Garage sales & markets ect.

Nothing beats heading out on the weekend and finding some retro bargains!

Maybe, know when the name was changed? You're 5 years older than me, so it might have changed within that time :p
It was a great store, I miss it dearly they always had retro systems there, nothing like we see today.

I've been meaning to go to some markets, but not sure where any are :/ - eBay has been really bad for it lately, not sure what's wrong with people!

Quite limited in Melbourne, but we make do right?

If you are interested in older games, head down to the Wantirna market. It's on the other side of town and only open Sunday's I think. But every time I've gone I found something good. There is also the Laverton market locally but I don't find as much good stuff there.

As for GameRush, no sorry I'm not sure when the name was changed. This store was on Level 1 right?

Thank you. Not sure what my next console is. I'm trying not to spend for a while. I've got a holiday coming up so I need my spending money!

I used to have the Japanese Sega Dreamcast RX-78. Mine was number 79/78! I gave it to a buddy in central America, but I kept the USA Ethernet BBA I bought for it lol. View attachment 5770

If I had a car I'd go to every market :( I'll see if I can make a special trip some day. Thanks for sharing that.

Yep Level 1 I think it was 2 doors down from PlayTime.

Ok time for some pictures!! :excitement:

Sonic 10th Anniversary Dreamcast console! This is my all time favourite Dreamcast! Simply beautiful.

Picked up two sets of Samba de Amigo - Got them for a steal -$60 for both. They are both boxed and complete!!

I also picked up 100 Jap DC games and a console for $110. The shipping was $200 to Australia but it still worked out to be less than $3 per game!! I've kept about 50 that I want, now selling the rest.

And now for some real retro! Sega Master System in box. There was some slight burn marks to the top of the box but everything else is mint! I've only ever had a SMS2 so I needed to add this bad boy to the collection!

Now I only need the Pink Hello Kitty DC & Sakura Wars. Both of which I'm not in a rush for. I also have no desire for a Custom RX-78 console. IMO it's the ugliest DC released. Happy with what I have!
