Robs V2 modchip on model 1 console?

Hi all,

the title actually says it all. Is there a way to modify robs V2 modchip to work with model 1 (PAL) consoles ?
V1.1 modchips still had 20 pin connectors on them, which rocked imo :Rock:.

If there isn't anything known about such modification, maybe someone could get us high res pics of V2 (and maybe V1.1) so we might get it done w/o much hassle.

I was curious about this too. I believe I saw a guide, but I never tried it myself.

Turns out my model 1 is a 21 pin anyway. I'll have a rummage..

 

Thanks for the answers guys ... but believing that you saw something or anything before doesn't actually help me
So a site or info would be the best answer, since I'm also somehow finding tiny bits of evidence that such a guide exists ... but I can't find it

So if someone knows where to find such a guide, please help me

I just got a mint 1995 Model 1 Saturn 3 weeks ago, so I would also be interested in this as well.

 

You should check the board, my motherboard says 1995 but it actually had a 21 pin laser.

Just installed a V2 modchip today and it's working great.

it has 21pin ribbon cable with a 64pin cdrom controller IC with separate controller ports
