REQUEST:Prince of Persia The Sands of Time PS2 demo(from 2003 e3)

I'm not completely positive, as it's been a very long time, but I believe I might still have have a demo on a PS Jampack. I remember that the level in the demo was almost completely different than in the final, so it might be something worth looking into...

I got this on a demo disc, don't remember if it was bundled with the ps2 or if it came with a magazine. Anyway it does say work in progress all over the place just like that youtube video.
It was awesome. It's also the most I ever played of PoP. I could get it for you, if you want. But in a week or two, cause I'm far away from where I last saw that disc.

 

I sadly no longer have my demo disc, but I definitely remember there being on a PS Jampack (oh boy those were the days...). According to google it should be the winter 2003 one, but I cant seem to find footage to tell if it's the same version I remembered playing.

That's great to hear! I'm interested in Sands of Time stuff too, so what's it like?

 

The game looks totally different(cutscenes,models,textures...)I LOVE this BETA HUD!! for me it's better than one in game

Wrong link dude, this one doesn't have prince of persia. In fact this is a complete different jampack.

 

Sorry Guys, I know it was the winter 2003 disc, but apparently there are different versions of it out there. I'll see if I can locate a copy and then I'll mirror it.

 

Actually, screw the chinese site. You can get it from a torrent named "Sony Playstation 2 (USA) (Other)".

There's no analysis of the demo, unfortunately. I would tell you about the differences, but I'm afraid I never got to try the demo. I found the torrent and it had the correct demo disc, but there were no seeders so it never downloaded. Perhaps georgeije6 might be able to give you a description? I get the impression he might have found a working download.
