So, with all the upload sites down, it is increasingly hard to find Dreamcast homebrew, and it is seriously sad. People relied on places like TIZ and SNESORAMA back in the day, but places like that are not here right now. Today is the 19th anniversary of the NA Dreamcast release so I was wanting to play a lot of homebrew.

Not asking for retail games, but homebrew.

I think it is kinda sad we don't have a site dedicated to Dreamcast homebrew. Someplace similar to Dreamcast.es but for English speakers and with more uploads.

Here is a great site for some too by the creators of Giana's Return and Sqrxz some amazing Amiga styled homebrew.

DcEvo site with great homebrew over the years. Thanks to josiahgould for reminding me and the link.

Quite a bit of downloads here, over 60 homebrew games.

Tons of homebrew here not available anyplace else over at DC Emulation. Thanks to dark for the link.

Here is an Archive.org backup of the TIZ homebrew section for you to check out if you want to see descriptions of all homebrew created in this pack.

That will work too. I got stuff from them over the years as well. Just looking to find all the sites we can that host downloads.

Also uploading personal collections works too.

You're probably better off with a Dropbox or Google Drive folder that's kept relatively on the down-low so as to not draw attention to it, that's the safest way to make these things available at the moment.

Well homebrews are fully free games. Indies would be nice to have a repository of too but homebrews are what I am mostly talking about.

It doesn't really matter if they're homebrews or not, upload sites will generally delete anything that's game ROM/ISO/whatever-related if a company requests its deletion. They don't bother to check.

That's nice if you're in the loop, but for me who doesn't know where to look and who to ask, it's less than ideal.

The whole situation is less than ideal, Nintendo is like a giant dinosaur that came in and fucked everything up (cough GODZILLA cough) - you're going to be stuck with exclusively looking and asking soon enough, so it's probably better to start now. :p

It's a nice idea to get them all and upload to some safe places.

Are you going to save all these files with their descriptions? Nice work for saving the Dreamcast's history.

Not sure what to do really. It sure is a lot of work and not sure if I have a lot of time to do it. I work on Battlefield 2 total conversion mods in my free time and already working on my 3rd mod now, so hard to say. I would at least like to make some kind of pack with the smaller homebrew games for sure.

But at least making links easily available in 1 place is better than nothing I think. That way we can all easily see different libraries around the net. Many of which I will admit I have forgotten about.

Updated the first post with a Google Drive archive that contains all 57gb's worth of homebrew that was taken down from TIZ August 2018 which comprises of over the 10 years worth of uploaded content for the full decade it operated. In that time it became a great go to source for games, and now thankfully it has been restored to the net.

Here is an archive of ALL the TIZ Dreamcast hombrew from their homebrew section.

Dammit I can't edit my first post to add this new info to it. Can somebody please add the next info below to my original posts above at the very bottom? I was planning on continuously updating this thread, but I guess I can't?

Here is a link with all Homebrew Apps uploaded to the now defunct TIZ site: https://mega.nz/#F!q7oxzDga!JfJulP8EX1-poB0nkgy2ZA

Here is a wayback Machine archive of the section of the site: https://web.archive.org/web/2018081...sozone.com/downloads/dreamcast/homebrew-apps/
