It WAS released as a CDI file.
how about reading the thread pasha?
Burnt this last night and had a quick go. Very cool.
Thanks a lot for releasing this, great job!
sorry, wasn't noticed that i need to force "overburnt" while writing files to usual cd.
that's first game ever, to me, where i need to use overburnt, i wasn't sure that i really need to use this at first. (wanted to buy bigger cd-r)
Anyway working perfect on 80 min cd, thanks for release! (and sry 4 stupid questions)
Hello, I would just like to ask if any of you had problem with controller on NullDC Emulator? For some reason, when I move character, it keeps swiching items too.
NullDC is glitchy, use Demul emu.
Made a jap front cover out of pictures found on the net:
Original picture of the clay characters made by Zhobot
EDIT: And now with back insert
地球にミッション sounds way to literal a translation of Mission to Earth. Something more similar to standard Japanese-title fare like 地球大作戦 or whatever would work better. Font looks too generic, too.
I know, nothing but complaints. Hate seeing custom covers that use nonsense Japanese, though.
Ah ah and it's only Monday It's my first cover, I didn't bother much with the Japanese as you can see!!! Happy to amend it to make it proper maybe our resident Japanese speakers can help I need to get a better font agreed, I'm looking for one!!!
Oh, so that one is better? Does it also play Rayman 2 better? Also how well would it work on PC like this:
Windows 7 x64
Intel® Core™ i5 CPU 760 @2.80GHz (4CPUs),~2.8GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GT 240
I know Dolphin works very slow on it.
The game was originally going to be called "ToeJam & Earl III/TJ&EIII All Funked Up" Theres a dedicated fan page created on Facebook just for ToeJam & Earl.
Heres the link to the original artwork that was going to be used
And heres the link to the main Fan Page created by some of the team and even Greg comments on posts and pictures. Thought Id share this link if nobody was aware of it or it wasnt posted somewhere.
Enjoy and like the page to show your support to them for making this awesome game.
Glad you tested it out and confirmed it just isn't me with my device giving the black screen of death.
Thanks for the update buddy =)
Just found this an article from Gamespot in 1999 about the DC Version:
First of all, questions that belong here are only questions about the topic.
Your questions should be asked to the devs of those emulators.
The OP says what emulator to use. That's your answer.
Someone recommended Demul? Try it!
You want to know recommended specs? Read the readme!
Is Dolphin slow on your PC? That means you suck!
I got a crappy laptop from 2007 and it runs dolphin pretty good with the correct settings.
Want to know how to setup Dolphin? GET OUT of this thread, and ask where you're supposed to.
Read the readme, whatever. Don't clutter this thread with your offtopic nonsense. smh
Another completionist reporting in:
It's definitely doable. I used spring shoes and icarus wings to get through as many levels as I could as quickly as possible. I also made sure to never press the B button, ever. From around level 14/15 or so onward, it just loops the same three maps repeatedly, so there's not really 25 levels. More like 14/15.
The swampy jungle-themed levels are by far the buggiest. Sometimes they will spawn you in a bad location when the level loads, forcing you to end the game. When they do work, there are big gaping holes in the map where the large lakes should be, so it's a good idea to avoid the water. There are also occasionaly invisible obstructions on some of the bridges, so you have to find another way round.
Overall, pretty great find. I wish this game had been finished for Dreamcast as it was originally intended.
my dreamcast was totally FREEZE on 9 level, when i was pushed map button
okay, i will never use map again
but on 8 and lower level you can use map
Thanks for sharing!
Every time I boot up the beta, I always get the spinning disc music menu. I'm using NullDC r150 by the way.
Processor:Intel Core i7
Graphics Card:Nvidia Geforce
Computer Name:HP ENVY Phoenix
The emulator starts up normally...
...but it somehow goes to this menu instead of starting the game.
