You could make this a project of your own!

Take PsNee, strip out anything you don't need on PS2, hook it up using the various diagrams.
You just need power and that SCEX injection point.
Make the modchip spam licensing symbols for 45 seconds. It should work.

Sorry to Necro bump but are the Install Diagrams correct for PSNee v6? I looked at the ino file and it obviously does not match the post on the first page indicating the following:

    Ordinary modchips:
    1 - Vdd
    4 - reset switch
    5 - gate
    6 - data
    7 - door switch
    8 - Ground

Pin-out for PsNee on an ATTiny45:
    Pin 1: Not connected
    Pin 2: Not connected
    Pin 3: Not connected
    Pin 4: Ground
    Pin 5: OUT - Data
    Pin 6: OUT - Gate
Pin 7: IN - CD lid
    Pin 8: Vcc

    So, that translates to:
    Ordinary modchips | PsNee
    -------------------------------------------------------
    1 | 8
    2 | X
    3 | X
    4 | X
    5 | 6
    6 | 5
    7 | 7
    8 | 4

Seems pin 7 is used now where in the diagrams it wasn't. Just trying to get things sorted out and possibly have some new updates images made so there is no more confusion.

I'm sorry for creating some confusion but is this request for the original PsNee?
You mention a CD lid variable, so I assume you mean the original.
If so, you should look into the current version, as it's much improved:

Oh thanks as I wasn't aware of this and it pretty much answers any question I had on it.

    *** EDIT ***
I finally changed my plans and installer a Stealth 2.8 in a PIC, since I found the soldering points for the exact same mother board than mine.
    Works fine ^^

    ** OLD MESSAGE **
    Hello.

I'm new on this forum, and I would like to put an Arduino Mini Pro with PSNEE V6 in my PSX (SCPH-1002 PAL), but I can't find an understandable (for me) diagrams on where to solder arduino pins...
My motherboard is an early model of PU-8, exactly like this one : http://wiki.psxdev.ru/index.php/PU-8

    Can anyone help me ? (I don't understand what is lid, biosA18 and biosD2, though ^^; )

    Thank you!
