    Does it need an introduction?
This slide should sum it up nicely:

The Playstation Broadband Navigator offered various online channels from game companies such as Bandia, Namco, Capcom, Koei, Konami, EA, SCEJ, Hudson, where th euser could find news updates, online ranking games, download trailers...

    What you'll find here:
    -PSBBN update server files
-incomplete dumps of Koei, Konami, EA Japan and SCEJ channels (incomplete= from only the first .xml page to a few subdirectories/pictures/sound)
-complete dump of the Hudson Channel I made in 2007.

The Hudson Channel dump is the more interesting, it contains:
-11 versions of the Channel (with minor differences)
-sources for the scripts used in all the Channels (from displaying background animations to online games like Star Soldier, BinaryLand, Nuts&Milk and other games that weren't playable on the Channel like Lode Runner)
    -install/update package for Bomberman Online

    Get it at:
    https://mega.nz/#F!nkJAXZjD!Ez3IN7-IEmus9gudhdh_Gw

    Password: BNavigator!

For details about the PSBBN development, read http://lorezan.free.fr/ps2/Introduction to the Broadband Navigator.pdf

    thanks man!, downloading.....

shouldnt be too hard to get the hudson channel back online....atleast as local channel.:p

edit: the hudson channel dump is kinda cofusing many different archives....then again archives in archives, and so on lol

edit2: ok i tried the channel dump from 2005 and it works somehow, but when i click on net de bomberman or play game it gives me "error 90003", but i could download&install bomberman online with no problem via a little trick lol :p , but its sadly no big use on my PAL PS2 :(

    Thanks for sharing!!!

I've been trying to download these files and it's a pain in the back... free.fr is way slow... or they simply limit the bandwidth usage.
It stays below 15 Kb/s... for a 500 MB file... I was able to download the first part, but keep getting timeout for the others.

Is anyone willing to upload to a different host?

    Thanks!

I made a torrent, seeing as I'll probably be the only seeder, don't expect very high speed...

I was able to download from dl.free.fr and therefore I started to seed it myself, as well.

I can't see the captcha and am unable to start the download. Could these files possibly be mirrored?

    Thanks.

The torrent (post #7) should work.

Looks like there is only one seed... I'll stay online when I finish downloading it.

I did start downloadig via torrent, but never got too far... I think it's stuck at 12.1%.
I did manage to download from free.fr after all... though haven't managed to verify the files integrity yet...

    @unclejun
Would you mind if I re up these somewhere else?
It will definitely take a while...

Wasn't there a third party product to add an hdd to the first slimline series?
    Maybe it's compatible...

I've checked it many moons ago, and my model isn't compatible. :( isn't there any hacky way to install it? I'll research it.

Oh and by the way, my ps2 slim is SCPH-79010, NTSC U/C from Mexico (it's the same as 79001). If someone has any info, please share it...

EDIT: No it can't have an HDD, it doesn't have IDE pinouts...

and even the first slims(SCPH-70000?) that "support" the hdd, shouldnt be able to use the ps-bbn or hdd-osd(i'm not sure about hdd-enabled games), as they do not have the hddload module in the rom i belive,
so they would need some sort of rom update or something like that, like the SCPH-10000 or SCPH-15000 via memory-card, that added the hdd-support for them.

NOTE: but i'm not sure if this would be even possible, on the first slims.

Thanks for the reply rich902! It's an honor, awesome work you did on the PSBBNAV! I guess the only way to do it is by owning a regular ps2 with expansion bay (no need to Japanese only ps2 since you hacked it with success)...
