Nice, I didn't know they made a 9000 series dtl. I would of thought that i wouldn't be worth their time producing this model as the ps2 was coming to the end of its life span.
its weird it has the dvd logos on the case though
All PS2s can play DVD-ROM, but DEX consoles cannot play DVD Video.
Yep, I've got one. They're based off the SCPH-90000 and apart from featuring the most up to date playstation drivers and browser software, they have a power supply that works on 110-240v. No power brick or step down transformers needed. I'd say they're pretty rare as you don't see them pop up for sale too often. The official vertical stand for it is just as rare!
Didn't they come out after the PS3 launch? So the number that Sony made will have been pretty low to start with.
Yeah I think you're right. PS3 was about 2006 and I think the SCPH-9x series was 2007.
