I have a SNES prototype of Special Tee Shot I want to preserve. I purchased a Retrode but unfortunately, it doesn't work. I always get the GenericRomInSnesSlot.dat file. The retrode is working great with all of my other SNES games. The cartridge is working fine in a SNES system. Any help would be appreciated.

Does Special Tee Shot have an enhancement chip? the Retrode won't dump SA-1 cartridges, because they need a signal from the CIC chip in the SNES to unlock them.

It doesn't have an enhancement chip it has the header blanked out according to another copy of this prototype, therefore the heuristics are not quite working.

I don't think it's possible to dump with a Retrode which is not quite made for this purpose, anyway...

The Retrode does a bad job with prototypes.
