Where i can buy powerpak ?
NES? You're better off getting the Everdrive N8, because I don't think RetroUSB are making them anymore.
Get the Everdrive N8. The powerpak is an old outdated design and it has a few issues on certain NES models that the N8 doesn't. Biggest issue is a buzzing noise in the audio. N8 doesn't have that.
Outdated? Seems like a vague bullet point to just be negative. The few issues on certain NES models, might be true, but it might also be related to reports from the very early PowerPAKs that was fixed long ago. Buzzing in the audio? My PowerPAK doesn't have anything like that.
The PowerPAK is likely to be replaced in the future with a new one, maybe it'll be the PowerPak2 or something. Right now the N8 EverDrive is probably your best option. But that doesn't mean the PowerPAK is bad.
I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. I kinda liked the Powerpak over the N8 if for nothing more than the name. The issues I mentioned are things I have seen in various videos of it in action.
As for the Powerpak2, been hearing about it for a year and a half now.
I think the save function is much better with the Everdrive, but beyond that there isn't much of a difference. The main point is that the NES PowerPak is out of stock on RetroUSB.com and I don't think they're making any more. So it's an easy choice. I did see someone selling a PP on Atari Age, though I'm not sure if they'll ship to Iraq.
