Skulls of the Shogun - Windows Phone game
Front Mission Evolved @ £1.99 via the Square Enix Store
(The serial code copies and pastes into steam for activation anyway...)
Got a PS Vita with one 16GB and one 32GB memory card, and copies of LittleBigPlanet and Assassin's Creed, for £140. That with most of the games I would've otherwise bought being available for free with PS+ now and next month, I'm happy with it. =)
Wasn't planning on getting any games today but ended up with these:
Soviet Strike: PSX £3 when i got home i opened it up and found another disc in the case underneath the soviet strike disc which was "Gunship" a helicopter combat sim, nice little bonus lol
for the PS2 seen 1945 I&II so grabbed it, was only £1.50
Also from square enix store got: Front Mission Evolved, £1.99, Rogue Trooper £1.49 and Hitman Blood Money £1.49
Microsoft Office 2013 - Professional Plus edition
Great upgrade, I'm really loving the tweaks to the UI and the easy SkyDrive integration. It's built with collaboration in mind, so I'm looking forward to using this more on the job!
Japanese Sega Saturn model 1, I think I am in love!
Not really gaming related but I've had to let go of my iPhone for a while so in the meantime I bought this for £70. 5" Android Phone. It's a Star N9770, quite an accomplished device seeing as it's a chinese knock off of the Samsung Note.
I don't really get along well with Android so I made some adjustments:
A yum-cha brand SMD rework station. Contains hot-air gun, ceramic-heated soldering iron, and a 0-15V bench power supply. $130 AUD
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive @ £5.99 & Test Drive Unlimited 2 @ £3.74 via Steam
got these: few pc games and some ps2 games, all were dirt cheap used, but complete. been wanting to get Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil for a while but never got round to it til now
very happy to get Delta Force Black Hawk Down and expansion, and Police 24/7 < light gun game but also works with controller and can use a usb webcam (not eyetoy)
got some posters too which were Free, a "My goodness My Guinness" Guinness poster and a Lord Of the Rings, Fellowship of the Ring, poster.
not pictured as i've yet to put them up.
Can`t get my mouse to right click on pics to get details....aarrggghhh!!!
Bought loads of stuff over the year or three haven`t been on here.....but here`s something I just picked up
and Halo Edition XBOX, got this rather cheap and Halo left in the DVD drive
Awesomenauts 3 pack @ £4.75 and the Awesomenauts Costume Party DLC bundle @ £4.07 via Steam Midweek Madness Sale.
I gifted the 2 spare licences to my main co-op partners. If they want the DLC they can buy it themselves though
I received the 3 last Virtual Boy games that I was missing for the US CIB fullset:
And here is the fullset:
*waits for someone to admit to buying colonial marines*
which i have not done yet.
some digital distribution past few days:
Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY edition - PC - Steam £2.49 - seen it on sale so grabbed it, have not played it yet.
Alpha Prime - Steam - looks like a budgety FPS game terrible voice acting(seems like it was written in Japanese then they used a google translate alpha build to translate it for american voice actors) but decent looking gfx for 2007, was only £0.75 again on Steam so can't lose there, at worst it's a quick single player shooting fix.
one im most pleased about
System Shock 2 - from gog.com $9.99 which translated to £6.something, this will admittedly be my first time playing the game as i missed out originally
all in all, happy me
The Darkness II @ £4.99 via GameFly
My main co-op partner had this on his wishlist and was interested in buying it, so I bought it to play with them. I've never played the first game but it looks like a decent enough game and theserial code is copied and pasted for activation via Steam so I figured what the hell, why not.
You're in for a treat. It's worth applying the graphics update mods if you can get them to work. They don't detract from the original experience at all.
I bought SS2 on release and loved every terrifying minute of it. (was also super happy that I had a PC that could run it maxed out at the time).
Last night I was going through the basement at my parents house and pretty much found the mother load of my GBA boxes. When the GBA was out I bought a good chunk of the nintendo made and published games. Highlights would be Pokemon Ruby,Sapphire,Fire red (All legit, no fake china crap) Mario & Luigi super star saga, and Kirby nightmare in dream land. Might try and find that old box of my game manuals while I'm here as well.
Got a nice famicom from StJackiefeva, already added some longer controller cords, just need to av mod it.
GBAs, NGPCs, and Wonderswans. LOTS and LOTS of them.
Too bad none of them are for me :friendly_wink:
