    PlayStation 1 - HAUNTRO

Hello. This is my PlayStation 1 intro I made. It took me 4 days to make and I developed it using PSY-Q on real hardware.
As a result, when you go to try it on an emulator, you will notice that the text and logo are flush with the top and bottom of the page.

Anyway, please download it and tell me what you think :)

    Username: Haunted360
    Project Title: HAUNTRO
    Time to Complete: 4 days
    SDK: PSY-Q
    Genre: Intro
    Latest Release: Final

    Initial Release Date: 12-MAY-2012
    Last Date Updated: -
    Controller: -
    Players: -
    Memory Card: -
    Languages: Eng
    Burn and Play: Yes
    Executable Included: Yes
    Source Included: No
    (ask me on
PSDEV should you want the source code)

    NOTE:
MD5 hash is included in the NFO.
The music also runs very slow under emulation.
Again, I reccomend that you try it on REAL hardware by burning the CD-ROM with the CUE + BIN included :)

Nice classic style intro, I know nothing yet about creating something like this so, Thumb up for your work.
Made the music yourself? or whats it called?

@CodeASM, Elysium from the Amiga intro by Sanity :)
@Johnny, Yes. I know this video. You could make an str out of it and play it that way if you wanted to.

Thanks for the great comments :D

I see. I actually wanted to know if you plan something like that for psio? Since GameShark / Action Replay replaced the original boot, i'm curious to see what you guys are planning.

@Johnny, we are making an operating system called 'psiOS'. It will be like the XMB used on the PSX, PSP and PS3.
@DefectX, grab Avanaboy's example on PSDEV (Homebrew section) and learn from it. Thats what I did. You are free to ask questions in the forums for any help you may need :)
@HeXiGON, yeah, I will upload the intro as a video to YouTube soon. It would be useful for people who cant be bothered to try it in an emulator, and would rather just watch what it is all about :D

H360, i'll try launch it with PSIO)) on Monday)) and Make a little (poor) video

i'm not sure - does PS1 can perform such cool intros like i saw in Johnny's post by GPU comands, but we can covert it to STR native sony's movie format and play as logo like movie cutscene. no problem.

BIN + CUE sheet are now in the zip file, so you may burn it to a CD-ROM as you would with a normal PlayStation 1 game. Also fixed a spelling error in the readme.txt file :D
