    Well there will need to be a lot of optimizations, no ports like these ever run 100% right out of the gate.

    We just implemented proper support for the PUNCH THROUGH list and got that working. Hence particles returning and the skies being multi layer rendered again.

    after some optimazations for sure. look at the graphicks dc can give in quake 3 arena. thats why i beleave that at least 480p will be ok for the original quake. oh now i see the video looking good. but i notice missing audio cd tracks

    There's already a fast Dreamcast port of Quake. I think @Mrneo240's goal here is to use a more up to date version of glQuake and just add minimal stuff to make it work on DC. Attainable performances should be very good.

    Are you using a PS/2 to USB adapter with it? I was planning on getting one of those as long as a USB optical mouse could work with it.

    Native ps/2 optical mouse. It's a WYSE mouse, grabbed on eBay for $4

    Ok after spending some time with if I feel I can give some feedback. While this is already stuff you know about just thought I should report how my experience was personally. It looks amazing on the rendering front, very crisp looking just like how I like my Quake. It dipped into the single digits about 2 times on the 2nd level, but it was when a lot of those undead were throwing their guts at you at once.

    Overall very promising port, looking forward to testing out improvements! Obviously this is still early days, but you can see it has real potential for sure! Keep up the great work!
