I saw a documentary once on security somewhere like Africa. They rig their cars with tasers - if you try to break in, you get a shock! I think some people were actually going a bit further than that and putting in systems that did a bit more damage! The biggest place for stolen cars (particularly Japanese) is Dubei. They often go to Ireland from there.
