Is this used in the proto?
I know that exists in the iso, but to be honest I never died in the proto to know.
You mention GDEV, is GBOX a viable option?
Not sure.. I don't know much about the GBOX.. basically it just needs more RAM than normal, the rest shouldn't matter.
The emulator doesn't seem to install or work for me on windows 7. What am I doing wrong?

Download the emulator officially. Then put the EXE from the Metroid into the dolphin folder, and launch that way.

how long can you play in this prototype? only a few levels or is it comparable to the full game for the wii?
You cant play it on a retail Gamecube. It's simply not possible. You would have to reprogram the game, which is nearly impossible.

it's possible to activate the lever in the planet generator room ? in the final version you do it with the wimote...

someone have got any idea how to run it on softmodded Wii 4.2E ( fw ) or modchiped GCN? ( both retail )
Did you read posts above ? This game requires more RAM than retail GC and Wii have.
