If it did get pressed it would likely count as the rarest game so far. I'm also guessing that more copies will show up in time.

It must have been REALLY bad for EA to cancel a game like this.

If that is true this would make it buy far the rarest ps3 and 360 game.

It's fully pressed and finished, I can't imagin only a few made it out.
So with a little patience many should follow, which will bring the price down.

I consider Gran Turismo HD Install Disc a rare ps3 game. Only avaiable in limited number, in Japan.

Same goes for Wipeout HD Fury, released on blu-ray disc in europe / asia (dont know about Japan)

It's not like they stamp one of these discs and stop. Stamping runs are mass production. Very odd though to begin production and then stop though. I thought this was going to be about how idiots on ebay call games "RARE" all the time when they clearly are not.

Wipeout HD Fury is not rare at all, I can see shitload of those blu-rays on local auction sites :).

I think low print, first edition japanese games will be rare, like 428封鎖された渋谷で for example - eBay prices for this game are high as hell.

Aren't review copies usually not in retail packaging and not a stamped disc?

This game was ready to go, the demo went on live, people complained all the copies where shipped back, however NBA Elite 11 was leaked onto the internet for the PS3 to play. So if you have a hacked PS3 you can experience why it was canceled.

There was at least 3 hard copies that managed to escape, 2 went on Ebay.

wow the fact that someone won it for $709.99 is insane. I wish for that bidder to do a review of the game and put it on youtube or something. Probably a rather depressing b-ball game to be taking out of production.

Why? Its filled with bugs and has a broken control system.

EA just put the game out of its misery.

I don't know why anyone would buy a canceled videogame do to it being crap, especially when it's been leaked onto the internet.

Crappy as it might be, the fact that you're never going to be able to buy it in a store or through any other means than people who somehow obtained a copy makes it all that more rare. Don't forget there are people who strive to have complete system collections, and Elite 11 is going to become a missing piece to those puzzles

also oddly enough, has anyone seen a 360 copy of Elite 11 show up yet? every version that I've seen so far has only been the PS3 version
