Is it possible to patch VSync out of a Game?

    I don't know where else I could ask this, since there are so many talented people around here in this forums.
    Do you guys think it would be possible to disable vsync via hex patch in a games xex file?
    I wonder if the game would run turbo speed then or if the 360 defaults to some sort of frame limitation.
    I'm mainly asking because of Dodonpachi Saidaioujou, the only port available besides the arcade pcb is on the Xbox 360.
    But the inputlag of this thing makes playing quite a chore.....
