    Hello,
I just opened my second Supergrafx to sell it, but I feel like it's new.
I must have known because in this case, the selling price would be different.
So my question: Is it really new or not? what can we can recognize this on one Supergrafx?

    -Box sunfaded and very damaged.
-Serial matching between box and console.
-No manuals, only one paper advise for the controller
-Polystyrene in nearly new condition except the underside.
-No trace on the console, immaculate. Screws, video port and handles intact. A doubt about the electric port (oxidation?).
-There is a tape on the power button. Is it original?
-The protective plastic console is very strange, I do not understand how it goes. This is the good one for the console?
    -No controller.
    -Transfo new
    -Video cable is new.

I've put alls pictures on this link:

    Thanks for your help.

It's obviously been opened before, but may have never been used, or used only once.
If that's what you're looking for?

That's what I want to make sure of. If at least theSupergrafx is new, I will not offer the same price.

my opinion is if you cant be SURE its never been used, you have to sell it as used. Opens you up to higher odds someone will be upset when they receive it.

New means different things to different people.

The tape on the power switch suggests it's never been turned on. I'm not quite sure of what the intent of that tape is, but both of the new PC-Engine machines I got back in the day had it.

I have to sold it as "maybe new" & "not tested".
Or I can test putting power supply on rear conector apropriates pins.

There's no way to tell for sure, it wasn't common for Japanese games and consoles to be sealed in shrinkwrapped plastic like it was in the west.
