How do you mod a PC BIOS to support two floppy drives instead of one?

Hello everyone! I have a relatively modern motherboard (2008) with a floppy drive controller on it. It supports the following floppy drives:
    • 360 KB 5.25 inch
    • 1.2 MB 5.25 inch
    • 720 KB 3.5 inch
    • 1.44 MB 3.5 inch
    • 2.88 MB 3.5 inch
I would like to put both a 1.2 MB 5.25 inch floppy drive and a 2.88 MB 3.5 inch floppy drive in it. There is one problem though... the BIOS only supports one floppy drive (drive A: I believe) at a time. I read online that you can modify some BIOSes to support two drives at once but I'm not sure how to do it or what I would need to do it.

It's an AMIBIOS Version 08.00.15 if you need to know. Build date in the BIOS says it was built on 05/04/08.

Does anybody here know how to do this? Any help will be highly appreciated!

You will need a dual floppy drive cable. That's how it was done in the old days :)

I have a couple of these. Sadly, this cable will not solve it. The problem is that the BIOS will not accept two drives at the same time without a mod to the BIOS software

Thanks, I'll have to look into that product. The drives I want are supported by my board. What compatibilities were dropped? I assume most dropped 5.25 inch drives and only support 1.44 MB 3.5 inch drives, or is there more to it?

If all else fails, I'll just use a 1.2 MB 5.25 inch drive internally and then get an external 1.44 MB 3.5 inch USB floppy drive.
