He was just protecting a staff member from retro who used to harass me until the admin there stopped him. For years of harassing he was banned for 1 day. I'm just supposed to just get over that? He's not here anyway so no need to protect him anymore.

I was the number 3 contributer to their wiki and for that GerbilSoft harassed me and pricked at everything that wasn't satisfactory to him. What would drx know, he never hung out in #retro.

Wait, I'm banned from your site drx? Because I was banned in your irc channel? What does one have to do with the other. Whatever, I guess. I haven't posted on your forum in years.

Please stop with all this drama. There's no need for this pointless discussion.

If you have issues with someone, go solve it with that person.

Hey drx, awesome news! The site looks great.

I've been working on a full index and reconciliation of all official Sega-related development material, including creating new pdfs of scanned documents that merge the best available scans from multiple sources. I was going to stick it up on a basic html page on my site, but since you've gone and done this cool wiki now, any objections to me merging my content in?

Also, do you have any plans to provide a "downloadable" version of your site somehow? If not, expect me to be spidering your site from time to time! I know this is harder to achieve with a wiki, but in my opinion archive sites like this should itself be archivable.

Definitely! This kind of index was on my todo list, as I've collected some odd dev software over the years, and it's absolutely within the scope of the wiki.

As for your second question, I plan to put a monthly backup of the wiki together soonish with all the downloads in one big zip file for easy downloading/archival.

Fantastic job as usual, drx! I'm looking forward to seeing what prototypes you release next! I'm specifically hoping that you have earlier prototypes of the Megadrive Power Rangers games, as I know that there was a version seen in Spanish ads that had a lot of differences from the final product such as different characters, different level art, and a different HUD.

I just added some of my prototypes/previously owned prototypes to the site. I get the impression the site isn't being recognized as more than just somewhere for drx's own releases at the moment, but it's definitely more than that. Needs more work still to be 100% user friendly, but you can already add your own entries and help this become the go-to site for prototypes. I'm planning to add more of my own later, including some I haven't mentioned publicly yet.

I'm looking forward to how big of a community this site develops into in the future.

Today I'm releasing a prototype of Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure for Neo Geo Pocket Color.

Still got them! I attempted to dump the WWF GD-R a couple months ago, but I'm afraid it's got a lot of sector errors. I'm working on getting as much out of it as I can, I'll post about it when I do.

    Thanks. Still do :)

    Other stuff

The article touches upon this, but it's worth mentioning here that there were two releases by Hidden Palace users lately:

Aladdin (Chicago C.E.S demo) by Billscat-socks

    Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (E3 demo) (May 09 2000) by Sairuk
