In their defense, it at least had a more popular SNES version, so is easy to mistake the SNES and PC versions.

Nah, don't feel bad. People who go on ridiculous fishing expeditions like that are, for lack of a better term, asking for it. A reality check could do them some good. All ebay needs are more ludicrous BiNs littering the site.
Sometimes I wish ebay had a flag button like craigslist, where if something is so ridiculous people just flag it because its a waste of time and space.
