It's correct, do you have a male to male scart cable too? Kenzei has a female Scart socket.

 

Just received my Hanzo, it works perfectly
The quality of the image with a Sony HW20 is unbelievable ! The Dreamcast really is an incredible machine !

maybe you should put up a list of all the cables you need to buy to get this hooked to the framemeister? It's sort of a lot by my count:

1) male to male VGA cable - to connect Hanzo and Kenzei
2) male to male scart adapter- to connect Kenzei to #3 below
3) euro scart to framemeister rgb din cable
4) RCA audio cable from Hanzo to Kenzei
5) a Kenzei compatible power adapter

Other than dealing with all that, the Kenzei and Hanzo are both super high quality! Really excited to finally get a nice dreamcast image through the framemeister.

 

also an rca audio cable to connect the hanzo to kenzei if you want audio through the scart cable.

You could actually combine #2 and #3 into one cable - xrgb mini din to male scart cable.

 

Are those available for purchase anywhere? I asked retroconsoleaccessories but it doesn't look like they have em.

 

Retro_console_assessories made one for me. She doesn't list them on eBay but will probably make one if you ask. Just ask for the passive xrgb-mini adaptor with a male scart instead of female.

Just wanted to say that I got my Hanzo and I think it's terrific! It's a solid and clean looking unit, and I'm getting superb video output now from the Dreamcast. I like the ease of use too, it's simple to toggle the settings and it doesn't require a restart or anything. Thanks for making such a great unit beharius!
