    60fps
    010157B8

    C3F2838 offset track12.bin

Note: at 60fps the collision detection breaks, you can drive trough gates and walls you're not supposed too, and at the world boundaries you can fall from the track. It is funny.

I wonder why these games didn't ship with 60fps by default if the engine is capable.

    @Shenmue_Trilogy

Usually there are three type of games
    1. Games which calculates timing independent from the framerate. For this game you unlock the fps and are good to go. (Ex: Re-volt)
    2. Game which ties the timings to the framerate but they have one variable which controls the timings globally. (Ex: Le Mans 24)
    3. Games which ties the timings to the framerate and have multitude of constants and whatnot related to timings (For the sake of an example let's say Sega GT).
Shenmue is a complex game(full of minigames, scenes etc), and from my analysis falls to category 3. In my opinion to fix a game like this you need four things:
    a. a couple of guys like yzb37859365 who understand assembly and can figure things out.
    b. a couple of guys like esppiral who are good with ram value searching because you have to search for a lot of values
    c. a few dedicated fans who know the game by heart, because you need constant testing and savestates from problematic spots of the game. Let's say you fix things on disc 1 but turns out that on disc 2 some elevator does not open correctly because of the 60fps, or some npc riding a bicycle on disc 3 is still double speed etc.
    d. an emulator with integrated debugger, frame stepping, vram viewer etc, something like ppsspp have.
Maybe a start for shenmue would be to find Ryo's coordinates and see which part of the code writes to this and modify them to halve his speed etc. If you are lucky it would affect npc's too but I doubt that, the way these games are, they usually threat things separately.

Great job @asasega, it's really awesome to see that you're able to unlock 60fps with so many games!
Seeing this thread is now the ultimate 60fps hot spot, you might want to edit the title for future reference :)

@asasega from your first post you'll notice a "Thread Tools"-text at the right top. When clicking on there you will have the ability to edit title.

Awesome! When I use code breaker to boot games using any codes, the games can't find the vmu and I am not able to save or load games. Is that an expected behavior?

I think just for common courtesy, everybody might want to thumb up all of his posts. You are a God among men asasega, you are doing the lords work!

Lets all show him how grateful we are for him doing all of this. It takes almost no time compared to the gargantuan task that is finding and editing these values.

I tried with Rez (with the code from the Widescreen thread). I'll try with some codes from this thread and report back, thank you.
