I don't know why but the graphics remind me of Sonic Adventure games. Great video by the way :)

Maybe I missed it in the video. Do we know what platform this was intended for?

Looks to be original Xbox based on the kit lying around the office in the video.

Doesnt mean that much at that stage, they were just using what they had.

Might make sense if it was intended to follow up High Roller which apparently only got average reviews. As did both games that followed up. From what I recall Sega didn’t go through the trouble of making it backwards compatible on 360, maybe they just didn’t think they could justify another at the time.

It did always feel like it was somewhat better suited to being an arcade game. Shame they decided to just do weird mobile spinoffs rather than a proper new game. It’s been 17 years since High Roller.

I really hate when companies go for crappy mobile spin-offs instead of proper sequels. I'm not talking about proper mobile ports ofc. But all those mediocre runners and clickers instead of proper games.

Yeah I sorta thought about that after I posted. Guess that kinda explains things, it’d make sense for it to be a late OG Xbox title. Wonder if we’ll ever see any of it.
