Crazy Taxi HDR-0053 no dithering

    No dithering

    Code was found the following way
    Esppiral linked this site http://mc.pp.se/dc/pvr.html in the psx dither thread
    so I dissassembled the 1ST_READ.BIN and I searched for A05F8048 (check screenshot)

    as you can see a05f8048 is written by the value from 0c2e7dec
    code was tested on demul, so no idea if it works on real hardware
    I don't have time to make other codes and to post hexedits for the gdi, nor to visit the site often, maybe this guide can be used for other games

    Maybe you can release the 1st_read.bin even for a few time.
    In order to do the test with a real hardware.

    Which tool have you used for edit the 1st_read.bin ?

    rtfm ? most if not all games store rendered frame in 16bit, with applied dithering, reg 5f7084 bit 3 enables it.
    afair quite few games uses 24bit video modes, for FMV movies/cutscenes.
