it's a pilot episode made from Universal Animation for make new ideas of the game , like a "prototype cartoon". David Siller , one of the producer , has released it on his youtube channel yesterday.

    From David Siller:

They say Animaniacs, but the animation feels more akin to the Earthworm Jim cartoon.

Perhaps a bit of both, if you ask me.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It has a very similar feel. Looks like they were trying to do the same thing. I loved the Earthworm Jim cartoon, and definitely would have went for this as a kid.

Wow, very well done to have never gotten a planned release. I dunno, I'd say there's definitely a resemblance to Animaniacs as well. I don't remember much of Earthworm Jim, they didnt play it much here. Or maybe we didn't get that channel...

This must have gotten a good deal of focus considering how well the animation holds up to cartoons in regular production at the time. And if I'm not mistaken, that's Jim Cummings singing the (horrible) theme. He's one of the top voice artists out there to this day. I bet he would have voiced Cortex, at least. Crash would have been fit for a wacky Billy West voice, too.

    Wishing it happened now!

I.. I really don't know how to feel about this. Hell though, I would've watched it. Even though the theme song (I'm guessing) is pretty garbage.

The quality seems more like "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" than Earthworm Jim. I would love to have seen this more polished.

That sounds like Jim Cummings if I'm not mistaken.
