will a link be posted in this thread briefly?
Krieg, sit tight. Kev's working on it.
i was just curious. ive been watching this thread for a while now and it seemed like everyone kinda forgot about it.
sorry, my bad. i wont ask again.
I'm trying to make a multiboot palfix for out friends in the uk.
But the security is preventing me, so I either have to rework the exe file
or you'll have to buy a ntsc - pal converter
Or just play with a emulator Works fine in ePSXe. Handy for those of us without a chipped PS
Well that would make my life a lot easier...
Now if there were someplace for a MR. Anonymous to put the file would be helpful.
As you know, we could never put such a file on our site.. it's watched too much.
Maybe we could create a Darknet.
Trouble is I don't think anyone wants this becoming as common as half life or PA wrt ebay sales, which rules someone quietly leaking to p2p impossible. That is, unless there is a torrent set up, and there is some form of password protection on the file, which could be issued privately.
how difficult is it to crack a passworded rar file?
what if you zipped it with a password, then rared it with a different password, and then 7z'ed it with yet another password, and then only briefly posted the 3 passwords in order?
or better yet, only give out the passwords via PM. so if its leaked, you have a culprit list.
Why note just PM it to the people of the forum. Also if it did become popular it would be worthless in data form. There is like almost a bunch of Demo games out there right now in Beta and so on.
Between everybody here I still want to take a shot at buying the game.
I like the idea of Passwords, PMed to members of the board who request it.
Hmmm..... a password protected rar file would be the best solution in my opinion. But... where would it be uploaded?
I really wouldn't bother patching it, it works fine on my chipped PAL PS2, and for those that don't have a chipped console, the emulators hardly rocket science as the_steadster said.
most of people fro europe have tvs that can display NTSC videos... so just add a rgb cable, and there's no need for a palfix
I'd prefer an original copy than a fixed one, to be honest.
by the way... anyone heard of this news?
(a small quote)
Way back in 2001? I think it's safe to assume it's been canned.
Thats a great idea. What I would do is multi lock it with various passwords and compression types.
Seeking people to torrent something for me, my ip is watched so I can't do it myself.
