Well it seems it coming soon. Nice one people!
I can't wait for this  Something that I always wanted is actually getting a release.
Someone should hack in the backgrounds and models from the rolling realtime engine demo.
Use the updated levels and models from the rolling realtime engine demo in this release. files<->
I want to donate something to thi srelease but couldn't see any paypal address to donate the money to. Does anyone have a link?
Here you go, Yakumo.
I already made my donation.
and I feel like doing a PAL cover for this one!
Maybe you guys know something I don't, but Fighting Force was done while I worked at Core. If any work WAS done, it sure wasn't much. I did some of the work on the N64 conversion (groan). Although the levels DID mostly have a flat floor with objects to jump on, so maybe Mac was consifering the thing...
Actually, it was at least 90% completed. It's just that Eidos didn't want to publish it and SEGA had no interest to do so themselves.
Well, the DC version got a release and that was shite. Isn't it odd how that got a release while the Saturn version that looked promising couldn't get a publisher :crying:
I'm wondering how the psx one plays in comparision. Usually ps got better versions of games than saturn, save the 2d stuff.
Wasn't that fighting force 2 though?
True, it was Fighting Force 2 but how could they make that heap of crap after what looked to be a future classic? It's as if they threw away anything that the original had and started from scratch with no thought what so ever.
I have E-mailed Mac to see if he can remember what exactly was done on the Saturn. Always ask the coder if you can!
Sweet! I've been after Mac for ages (wanted to do an interview, still do actually), couldn't find him
It's in this topic actually (http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17100&page=2 , halfway)
