Well, i think i speak in the name of a lot of Saturn users...

It's well known that an almost - finished version of Fighting Force was sometime for the Saturn...and also confirmed some playable demo form - proto as walso of Ninja...

What are the chances in getting this working on saturn? :110:

seems incredible fighting force doesn't have found it's way to the net already...

Fighting Force is being horded by a collector but as for Ninja, hmm....It would be good just to even have a demo.

But a confirmed demo of ninja exists, almost in a playable form, ...

I think it was sent to SEGA SATURN MAGAZINE...

and about the Fighting Force,,,what are the chances of it being leaked??? I must tell that would be interesting if we can join forces or make an attempt for it to be released.

We will never have a new L&F, Oldergames sold its retrogames branch, Super Fighter Team bought it but they didn't buy the back catalog of software and they are only interested in games for cartridge based console, so nothing for the Saturn.

Well, I've been after Fighting Force for quite a few years now and nothing came across..it's one of my personal grails because I was waiting for original release back in 1997..

Core's dead and Eidos won't be of any help. I know of a so called 'collector' saying he had Fighting Force, but turned out to be full of sh*t.

but you know, a lot of magazines got a working silver of that....

people from sega saturn magazine??? contact would be really good...

i think that maybe saturn - fighting force is collecting dust on a trash can or in some kind of vault at some magazine edit.

if it's not a saturn dedicated fan, no one would release that to the public.. and PUT THE FIST IN THE FACE of those who said saturn can't do the 1997 core 3d engine (tomb raider II lies spread by sony)

Hmm I can ask Rich from SSM stuff, but I don't want to hassle him too much.
Here's the games that I know are in the hands of collectors/people (apart from the stuff I have); Bedlam, Chill, Return Fire (a press original not the download), Sacred Pools and two others I can not talk about. (nothing Core/Ninja/Fighting Force related). I probably forgot some stuff but I'll come back to that.

    thanks for the info Segafreak_NL

I know how important are the real things for the collectors, of course they must keep the original dev cd's, i know the importance of that (i'm a programmer), but the deal is if the saturn community can work together to get some of those games playable, and i accept it , i want some trolls to see what saturn was capable of, and fighting force , besides being a good or a bad playable experience, got the core 3d engine sony lied about.

Segafreak_NL, seriously, if i can help in getting any game, just tell me, i'm not interested in owning original dev's etc,, i'm only intersted in play on my console, of course, if secrecy is demanded, secrecy will prevail. i don't like to joke.

Don't know about the development state that Ninja ever reached, but Fighting Force, on the other hand, is a finished and lost game for the Sega Saturn, intended to have a PAL release. And it's pretty clear the UK Sega Saturn magazine had a copy of it at some point.

And there was this Sega Europe former worker who came across Lost Leves boards with a finished sample of the unreleased Chill. That was several months ago, don't know what finally happened with that.

No. I guess you had someone else in mind. Interesting.

Chill is a snowboard game by Silicon Dreams.
