I was going to play my Turbo Everdrive in my TurboExpress, and then when I moved the switch to set it to TG-16 mode, the shaft broke off and now it's permanently set to PCE mode. Thankfully my TurboExpress is region modded so I'm not bummed out about it, but I would like to know what type of switch to use to replace it. I'm assuming it's a SPDT switch?

If you're lucky and whoever modded it used the dual chip method it is a SPDT, as poor as it is overall.

If they went the harder way it is a 8PDT IIRC. Very hard to find switch. I ended up using dual 4PDTs to save on the price as well as the sheer difficult of locating the switch.

Um, I'm thinking he's talking about the switch on the TED.

If anything, you could just use a pin or a toothpick or something to move the switch. It was discussed here:
