Oh no, will this video bring out the PlayStation fan boys? I hope not. I'm very fair with the comments, or at least I think so.

We are sticking with SNK on this week's Battle of the Ports as we take a look at The King Of Fighters '96.

They battle through time to rescue their comrades. Sounds like the plot to a cheap Sci-Fi Movie. It's Time Soldiers from Alpha Denshi.

LOL! I'm a fan of these. Are you trying to make us SNK fanboys crazy lately?

I'm actually surprised Time Soldiers have so few ports.

The MVS was an awesome system for its time. I really enjoy mine, though I wish I had more games for it. I think I have 5 currently.

Yeah, I'm surprised there are no 8bit home computer ports.
there's always the flash cart or those multi carts.

True, but I'm more interested in collecting real carts. If I want to try out a game, I can use an emulator. Flash carts are kind of expensive, and I would rather just spend that money on real games. Multi carts are cheaper, but again, I'm not really interested in them. I wouldn't rule out ever getting one, though.

Speaking of flash carts, I do have a GBA one. I really like it. One of the main reasons I got it was so I could play stuff like protos/betas/tech demos/etc. There are quite a few of those on the GBA that have been released online.

A loved Gain Ground back in 1990 on the Mega Drive. I'm surprised it's taken me 205 show to finally get around to covering it.

Never seen this one in the arcades, but i do remember renting the SMS version.

Again, i'm surprised with so few ports. This time, not a single computer version.

The lack of computer ports is quite surprising. I would have thought this would be a prime candidate for home computers.

I played quite a bit of the NES version so this will be interesting to watch. I always found the game a bit tricky and could never progress very far into it.

It is a very tricky game at first. The controls take some mastering.
