I know a few people who went to Nottingham University, and ive been to the campus a few times, and its quite a nice place, plus notts has a few decent rock clubs and a pretty good nightlife

No idea about the london ones, but they are close to the city which is always an advantage

What is it you will be studying there?

EDIT : Here is the link for Notts Uni http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/ , gives you a good idea of the campus and surrounding area

Nottingham I hear is quite a good Uni.

Kingston-Upon-Hull (also known as Hull) is well known for being a dismal town - lots of concrete, cold and wet, although it has had a drastic rebuild of areas recently.

London is a good city, especially if you're used to the bustle of New York.

Any opinions on the London ones?

And I thought about Germany, but the ones in my schools program require good German language, which I dont have.

To be honest none of those are particularly prestigous uni's - look for things like the league tables here:
    http://education.guardian.co.uk/universityguide2008/
    http://extras.timesonline.co.uk/gug/gooduniversityguide.php
    http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/single.htm?ipg=6605
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/League_tables_of_British_universities

They won't tell you how much you will enjoy the course, but they do give you a general idea of how highly they are ranked. Personally of those offered I'd take nottingham, mainly because I haven't heard of the london ones or which queens college it is, and I don't rate hull

Just remember, Im not transferring there or anything, I plan on going for a semester to study. Really, the area matter a lot, and obviously being an okay school. It doesnt need to be the best or anything, its more about the experience, as a lot of the classes are likely meaningless for me anyway heh.

My big bro studied law at Nottingham.

The city is nice, got some classy areas, but it is pretty rough. Loads of apartments in the city centre have bars on the ground floor windows! My bro survived his time there, but the city has a pretty bad reputation for violent crime...

That aside! It is a really good university with great funding - enjoy!

Nice shops, bars and clubs 'n all in the city centre. If you can get student halls it is pretty cheap to live there. Other students always seemed nice when I visited.

Studying in London is expensive, but if you have the cash you can have a great time in London. But you really need the money to get a place in a nice area and to afford basic living.

Although I'm really not the city type myself, given that's it's just a single term I'd say go for one of the London ones, so you get to experience the place. You'll have a lot more fun there than in Hull, that's pretty much assured.
