Will do. Thanks.
Installed Xecuter Fusion, how can I transfer Crackdown to run?
*quietly prays that it is Saints Row*
You can use XeXMenu (there's loads of guides on how to get it onto your X360) and setup an FTP server, then you can send Crackdown via FTP and launch it with XeXMenu (or the Fusion shell/Dashboard, whatever floats your boat).
Already discovered, just paste into the DEVKIT folder in HDD1
Also, most of the game final cutscenes are in the video folder, there is a few early ones for Violetta, and the pause menu doesn't work.
Also the weirdy clouds have the texture in a BMP file, its not stored into a specific extension package.
It's not a high profile title.
It's special in another way, though.
Either way, unless I do get permission to release it on here, you'll have to wait.
I'm a little shaky on this, but I don't believe there's a problem with you disclosing the name of the game if you'd like. Don't expect a response with a quickness or anything like that.
I could certainly go for anything pre-release Saints Row, especially 2. It would be interesting to play the missions they cut, I.e. transporting underage vietnamise prostitutes and "cleaning up the streets" by blowing homeless people into drains with a firehose. So tasteful!
I have PM'ed to assembler with NO REPLY so i am waiting
Like I said a bit ago, don't expect anything with a quickness. There aren't any restrictions on doing a video or posting some information, though.
Pictures are fine as long as nowhere in the code or onscreen does it say a developers name.
Developer name really wont get you in trouble either, unless its from a title that is still being worked on in which case you should keep it to yourself anyway.
No worries, I am not in a hurry, at all.
Chill mate, I am sure he will once he got a minute.
BTW, you still want what we talked about some months ago [yeah,I am still *unhappy* about how you handled the whole ordeal]?
Yeah....about that...not only do I not have access to my kit right now,
but there is one more tiny problem with pictures or even video. When I said early build, I meant it.
Prior to XEX1 and XEX2 executables.
To make it brief, I had a chance to have try and run it on Alpha kits (we do know that the Alpha kits used DOS MZ executables, which additionally said "This program cannot be run in DOS mode."), but still, it wouldn't run.
Maybe those kits are on too early of a recovery (the build is from right before/during the transition to the Beta 1 kits), though.
You may be wondering why I would want to release something that currently won't run...
Two reasons, first, I hope that maybe some smart guy finds a way to get it to run,
second, this is the only Alpha-Kit-build I do know of...so why not?
Just so you know, I got this build on some (not an Alpha kit) hardware I obtained years ago.
No issue, both are dead platforms.
Thanks for the quick response (by both, assembler refers to PS3 and X360, as per previous PMs).
LET THE PS3/360 RELEASES REIGN!!!!
Does anyone still have these?
I will re up when I have time
I'd like to see some of this stuff myself...the 360's pretty much dead now. Development wise it'd be interesting to star seeing what modders can do with this stuff...I know the fellow handling the Dead Rising restoration's been waiting a damn long time himself, which is bound to pop up sooner or later.
A damn long time Can't even explain it ._.
