You ever order something very awesome online and it seems to take forever to come?

If you have seen my videos on Youtube you will know I order a great deal of arcade items. It seams the more I want something the longer it takes. It doesn't help the fact that a good deal of people who I buy stuff from are either across the country or in another country.

My biggest recent one (other then the item I am currently waiting for which is coming from Spain), was Planet Harriers, it took a good week and a half, that just felt like an eternity.

So has anyone else had this experience, you order something really cool but it just seams to take forever?

    DTL-H1200, DTL-H3000 - 2 months (from Japan)
A Puzzle back in 2009 - 4 months (from China)
Another puzzle (hand crafted - already prepped for post) - 2 months (from Russia)

I can give Russia some slack as the way their postage related affairs are handled are quite different, but holy hell did those take some time.

Yep, I've got a PC Engine Ever Drive on order which is still out of stock a month later. Also ordered a replacement battery for my Xperia ZL2 but that still hasn't arrived after 4 weeks. On the plus side, my 3D printed PC Engine EverDrive case arrived from the states in just 5 days.

Sort of. ... When it was new I ordered metal wolf chaos from playasia.

It was already backordered into infinity, but I waited nine damn months just to get the cancellation email.

    That really sucked.

You think relations between countries has anything to do with it? I have had varied experiences with china, sometimes it comes in 3 days others it has taken about a month.

I'd just like to make this post in particular for anyone that ordered DOAX3 from playasia
There's people that paid a lot of money to get those deluxe editions and somehow along the line Fedex changed delivery to this upcoming Monday (my birthday ironically)

If you ordered that game, I'm sorry that my birthday will be the day you get your order.

I had preordered a game from play asia, took less then a day to get from china to usa. Its been several days of silly fedex taking it a couple miles a day here in the usa, guess they have no clue what priority or express means. I just fund it funny that it went overseas so fast but to go a couple hundred miles here in the usa takes several days, and on top of that for some reason they only deliver this particular item on weekdays, so maybe Monday or Tuesday but with how slow fedex is going who knows.

My latest Arcade piece will be my first experience getting something from Spain but ebay seams to think it will arrive sometime between March 29th and April 14th, hoping more sooner then later as I have been trying to get one of these particular items for quite some time (it will headline my next new pickups video if it comes soon enough)

That's why anything you truly desire, badly, should be sent 2 day mail.

I'm spoiled because amazon does SAME day shipping here for $5.00

If I want something, I can have it in 3-4 hours.

In all fairness, if you buy stuff off eBay, a lot of people will only do one type of shipping.
I just feel lucky my Dreamcast Arsenal jersey came quickly.

Stuff from China always takes about 3 weeks to Japan which is crazy but this parcel took 3 weeks just to leave China. It's now on its way to Japan. No idea where it is though.

Same day delivery from Amazon in Japan is free :) well, if your a Prime Member that is.

I remember that I bought a pair of SNES controllers from China about 6 years ago. It took ages to get here, but that's because Eyjafjallajökull decided to erupt in Iceland and slow air traffic.

There was this store in hawaii called Toys and Joys. TOOK FOREVER and I ordered some sick shit from them. Gamecube Shikigami No shiro 2 in one order, Vampire Chronicle and Boarder down. I didn't think they were coming either.
They've since shut down, probably because they knew dick about efficiency.

I ordered a Japanese Dreamcast keyboard (but it had English letters, and I have seen ones with Kanji) from Japan. Took like a month and a half before I had to get a refund because it never showed up.

I've noticed that ordering lots of small items from China to the UK during the same time period can often cause delays and then all your items arrive on the same day, it's happened to me a few times so I just assumed customs held them as it looked suspicious. I guess once they realised all the crap I've bought is actually quite boring they released them!

My Saturn Action Replay 4in1 cart took 6 weeks to arrive from PlayAsia, had completely run out of save space on the console so it was a painful wait too.

I'm pretty sure this is a universal feeling, not just limited to videogames.
